Pai Gow Poker Established Guidelines

[ English | Deutsch | Español | Français | Italiano ]

Let’s learn a different type of poker other than hold’em, 7 card stud, 5 card draw and Omaha Hold’em. Yes, pai gow poker. Now you need to be wondering that pai gow sounds a bit Chinese; yes you are correct this casino game is a mixture of the Chinese game double-hand and our very own American poker. Definitely this is not one of the most well-known styles of poker but still it’s widely bet. It could be played by up to seven gamblers.

It’s played with one deck of 52 cards, plus a joker. Strangely enough, the joker may be employed only as an ace, to complete a straight, a flush, a straight flush, or a royal flush. The crucial element here to bear in mind is aside from the usual rating of hands we have one more winning hand that is "5 Aces" (5 aces such as the joker). Amazingly, 5 aces beat all other hands which includes royal flush.

Each player is dealt 7 cards. The cards are arranged to form two hands; a two card hand and a five card hand. The 5 card hand must rank greater or be equal to the two card hand. Lastly each of your hands have to rank greater than both of your competitors hands (both five and two card hands). Further the two card hand can merely have 2 permutations; 1 pair and high card.

Following the cards are arranged in to two hands, they’re placed on the table face down. Once you place them down, you can not handle them. The croupier will flip over their cards and make his hands. Every single gamblers hand is in comparison to the croupier’s hands. If the player wins one hand and manages to lose the other, this is identified as "push" and no money is won or lost. If dealer wins equally hands then they captures the gamblers wager and the opposite way round. Now what if there is a tie, the only benefit with the dealer here is they is victorious on all ties.

Right after the hand is wagered, the following individual clock-wise becomes the croupier and the following hand is wagered. The big disadvantage to this casino game is that there is no ability involved and you depend too much on fortune. Also the chances are weak in comparison to playing with a pot.
