Amateurs Tactics for Double-Hand Poker

[ English ]

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the west in a great game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the casino, not like most other poker games that gamblers wager with other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to worry about any other, more experienced people taking their mulla.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game play, beginners should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make frenzied selections.

It is also simpler to play for an extended time with only a little amount of money since, to lose, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is assigned seven cards face up and the casino is given 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one two card hand must be made from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
