Caribbean Poker Codes and Tips

Online poker has become world celebrated recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been created, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the dealer saying "No more bets." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the other gamblers acquire 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you need to either make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s value is on same level to your original wager, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes immediately to the bank. After the bet comes the face off. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with a figure in accordance with the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The casino pays cash even with your bet and controlled odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
