Poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years many variants on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the dealer instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little conniving or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the dealer announcing "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different players receive 5 cards each. After you have seen your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you need to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning ante, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your bet goes directly to the casino. After the wager is the conclusion. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, including a sum equal to the original bet. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays cash even with your bet and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
