Ah, the steam. If a poker player claims at no time to have peered over the barrel of an approaching tilt – they are either lying or they have not been betting long enough. Now let’s say you are up one hundred dollars off of a 100 dollars deposit, and you suffer a large hit in a NL game and your bankroll is at $120. You’ve burned eighty dollars in a hand where you should have picked up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and held a ten to one advantage. And that amateur! He bled you dry on the river? – Well stop right there. This is a quintessential opportunity for a fresh gambler to begin tilting. They just blew too much cash on one round that they really should have won and they are agitated
