Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the wild west in a wonderful game for beginner level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the croupier, unlike the majority of other poker games that players compete against other players. By competing against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to be concerned about any other, more experienced people taking their mulla.
A further Pai Gow edge is the fairly leisurely game play, newcomers should be able to take their time and scheme while not having to make hasty selections.
It is also much simpler to enjoy for a long time with only a little bit of money after all, to lose, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the croupier receives seven cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and one 2 card hand need to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
