Novice Strategy for Double-Hand Poker

Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the west in an excellent game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the house, unlike the majority of other poker games that gamblers bet with other players. By playing against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to fret about any other, more advanced players winning their cash.

A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, rookies are able to take their time and scheme without needing to make quick selections.

It is also easier to wager on for an extended time with only a small bit of money after all, to not win, both of your hands has to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards face up and the dealer is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
